Device Overview

Polar launched Loop on September 3, 2025 as a screenless band with no monthly fee. The US price is $199.99. Polar's spec sheet lists a stainless steel case, 27 mm wide, 42 mm tall, and 9 mm thick, at 29 g with the band and 19.5 g without it. The sensor set on that sheet is Precision Prime optical heart rate, generation 3.5, and an accelerometer. Battery life in watch mode is 8 days from a 170 mAh cell, charged with Polar Charge 2.0 on a USB-C cable. Water resistance is WR30. Onboard storage is 16 MB, and Polar's launch announcement says the memory holds about four weeks of data. Polar Flow, which is free, shows Nightly Recharge, Sleep Plus Stages, SleepWise, Training Load Pro, activity, and automatic training detection. Workouts can be started in the app. There is no screen and no button. An optional Polar Fitness Program has been priced around 9.99 euro a month. It is not required, and the core band does not depend on it. Polar states a 2-year guarantee.
