by Hume • Model: Band 2.0
Hume Band 2.0 is a screenless band sold for a one-time price. On Hume's product page at the time of this review the price shown was $249, with core scores left available if you never add Hume Premium. Premium, for AI coaching, has been listed around $8.99 a month and is optional. Hume says the sensor uses 5 LEDs and 4 photodiodes and tracks heart rate, HRV, SpO2, skin temperature, respiratory rate, sleep stages, and blood-pressure trends. The company is explicit that the blood-pressure view is a pattern across days, not a cuff replacement. Battery life is advertised at up to 14 days, with a charge typically taking 20 to 80 minutes. Wareable's hands-on review of Band 2.0 reported closer to 7 days of day-and-night wear, and said heart rate, sleep, and recovery still missed often enough to notice. The water spec on Hume's page is IP68, dust-tight and water-resistant to 1 meter for up to 2 hours. That is a shower-and-rain rating, not the 5 ATM or 10-meter claims elsewhere in this group. Hume advertises a 45-day trial and says the band can share an account with the Hume body-composition pod. The 83 is an editorial score. Medgrade did not run its own wearing trial.
Eligibility may vary by provider and plan. Check with your HSA/FSA administrator for specific details.
Evidence-based evaluation by medical professionals
"A $249 band with an ambitious sensor list, a blood-pressure trend that is not a cuff, and a battery claim an independent review did not match."
