Medify MA-112

The Medify MA-112 is built for sheer volume. Designed to cover an immense 5,000 square feet in 60 minutes (or 2,500 sq. ft. in 30 minutes), it utilizes a dual air intake system to pull massive amounts of air through two separate sets of filters simultaneously. Each side houses a pre-filter, an H13 True HEPA filter (capturing 99.9% of particles down to 0.1 microns), and an active carbon composite layer. Additionally, the unit features an optional UV-C light and ionizer for an extra layer of pathogen and particle mitigation. During our clinical evaluation in a 2,000 sq. ft. open-plan environment, the MA-112 demonstrated extraordinary particulate clearance rates, outperforming almost every other residential unit on the market in raw speed. However, its overall score of 82/100 reflects a few notable drawbacks for the average consumer. Despite its $600 price tag, the unit completely lacks Wi-Fi, app connectivity, and detailed digital air quality readouts. Furthermore, its 'lifetime warranty' requires continuous enrollment in their filter subscription program, which can become incredibly expensive given the unit requires two large filters to be replaced every 4 - 5 months.
