Our Story
Founded by healthcare professionals who recognized the need for independent medical device evaluation
MedGrade was founded in 2020 by a group of physicians, nurses, and biomedical engineers who recognized a critical gap in the medical device landscape. While pharmaceutical drugs undergo rigorous clinical trials before approval, many medical devices reach the market with limited real-world testing data.
As healthcare professionals, we witnessed firsthand the challenges of evaluating new medical devices in clinical practice. Marketing materials often lacked the depth of clinical evidence needed to make informed decisions, and peer-reviewed studies were frequently limited or industry-sponsored.
We established MedGrade to apply the same evidence-based approach used in clinical medicine to medical device evaluation. Our multidisciplinary team combines clinical expertise with biomedical engineering knowledge to provide comprehensive, unbiased assessments.
Today, MedGrade serves thousands of healthcare professionals worldwide, helping them make informed decisions about medical device adoption and patient care. Our commitment to independence, scientific rigor, and clinical relevance remains unchanged.
